Stored XSS in Backdrop CMS 1.23.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through crafted Post body content. The Post creation flow stores a crafted Body field without neutralizing its image event handler and renders it after saving. Administrative privileges and selection of the Raw HTML editor are required, and the demonstrated payload runs in the viewing browser's site context.
