Client-side script execution via unescaped pointsf attribute
Published Dec 2, 2022 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Reflected XSS in Prasunsen Chained Quiz 1.3.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts through the pointsf parameter. The chainedquiz_list page places pointsf into an HTML attribute after applying sanitize_text_field rather than context-appropriate attribute escaping. A logged-in administrator must open a crafted link and interact with the injected page before the script executes in that administrator's browser.
