Router reboot via forged administrative request
Published Oct 12, 2022 · Updated May 15, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Tenda AC1206 firmware 15.03.06.23_multi_TD01 allows remote attackers to reboot the router. The fromSysToolReboot handler processes a forged cross-origin reboot request without verifying that an authenticated administrator initiated the action. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to interact with attacker-controlled content, and a successful request interrupts service by rebooting the device.
