Authenticated database disclosure via client ID injection
Published Oct 7, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Online Diagnostic Lab Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through a crafted client ID. The editclient.php endpoint incorporates the id query parameter into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, allowing a UNION SELECT payload to return the database name. A valid Super Admin session is required, and the published proof of concept demonstrates database-name disclosure rather than broader command execution.
