CVE-2022-42055Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated router file disclosure via shell-prefixed parameters

Published Oct 27, 2022 · Updated May 7, 2025

Command injection in GL.iNet GoodCloud 1.00.220412.00 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary router files via network requests. The enterprise TOOLS interface accepts ping_addr and trace_addr values beginning with a shell delimiter and /bin/sh, then returns the named file instead of limiting input to an address. An enterprise GoodCloud account with access to a linked router is required, and exposed data includes configuration, source, and credential files.
