Account takeover via stored XSS
Published Oct 27, 2022 · Updated May 7, 2025
Stored XSS in GL.iNet GoodCloud 1.00.220412.00 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via crafted Company and Description fields. The Group Lists panel stores unsanitized Company and Description values and later renders them in listQuery results, causing scripts to run when users log in or change regions or organizations. Exploitation requires an account and a victim viewing a shared enterprise group; demonstrated impact includes session-cookie theft and account takeover.
