Code-execution backdoor in d8s-xml 0.1.0 allows attackers to execute code by installing its democritus-html dependency. The release metadata declares a dependency name no longer controlled by the maintainer, allowing PyPI to resolve a third-party democritus-html package. Exploitation requires installation of d8s-xml 0.1.0 and dependency resolution from PyPI; public records do not disclose the payload or execution trigger.
