Supply-chain backdoor in d8s-algorithms 0.1.0 allows attackers to execute code by installing its malicious democritus-dicts dependency. Version 0.1.0 declares a dependency whose package name was no longer controlled by the project maintainer, causing installation to retrieve third-party code. Execution requires installation of the affected release, and the public records do not disclose the malicious dependency's payload or resulting actions.
