Published Jan 2, 2023 · Updated Apr 10, 2025
Stored XSS in miniOrange Login with Cognito 1.4.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through plugin settings. The Attribute/Role Mapping Username setting stores administrator-supplied markup without sanitizing it or escaping it when the settings page is rendered. Administrator access is required, and a user who opens the injected page runs the script in the WordPress site's browser origin.
