Server crash or code execution via oversized reports
Published Jan 18, 2023 · Updated Jan 16, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in Sewio Networks RTLS Studio 2.0.0 through 2.6.2 allows remote attackers to crash the server or execute code. The RTLS report communication path accepts an exceedingly long payload without a length check, causing an out-of-bounds write. No authentication or user interaction is required, but access to the anchor-report, anchor-synchronizing, or blink-and-sync network services is necessary.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
