Heap corruption via Accessibility use-after-free
Published Nov 29, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Use-after-free in Google Chrome Accessibility before 108.0.5359.71 allows remote attackers to corrupt heap memory via crafted HTML. The public vendor bulletin identifies only the Accessibility component, while the linked issue that would expose the faulty object lifetime and operation requires permission. A user must open the attacker-controlled page; successful triggering can corrupt the browser heap, but public sources do not identify a more specific consequence.
