Hidden document disclosure via LiveTable result counts
Published Nov 23, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025
Information disclosure in XWiki Platform 12.10.11 through 13.10.7 and 14.0.0 through 14.4.2 lets remote attackers infer hidden content. The XWiki.LiveTableResultsMacros page returns obfuscated rows and an inconsistent returnedrows value when a limit-zero query matches documents the requester cannot view. Unauthenticated access to the LiveTableResults endpoint is sufficient; repeated prefix, content, or property guesses disclose matching text but do not grant direct document access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
