Account control bypass via missing authorization
Published Nov 23, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025
Authentication bypass in XWiki Platform before 13.10.7 allows remote attackers to enable or disable user profiles via XWikiUserProfileSheet. The page processes enable or disable actions without checking administrator authorization, so any visitor who can reach it can change another profile's status. This permits disabled users to restore access or attackers to disable accounts, while the direct impact is limited to account integrity.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
