Information exposure in OpenSearch before 1.3.7 and 2.0.0 through 2.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to read the first line of local files. Analyzer mapping-rule loaders include a malformed rule read from a chosen file in an exception that the REST API returns to the requester. Exploitation requires analyzer-configuration access, and disclosure is limited to text files readable under the Java Security Manager policy.
