CVE-2022-41891Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Process crash via empty TensorListConcat element shape

Published Nov 18, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025

Improper input validation in Google TensorFlow before 2.8.4 and 2.9.0 through 2.10.0 allows context-dependent attackers to crash a process. TensorListConcat takes a subspan after the first element_shape dimension without rejecting an empty dimension list, producing an invalid access and segmentation fault. Exploitation requires an application to pass attacker-influenced tensor arguments to this API, and the demonstrated consequence is interruption of that process.
