Unsafe deserialization in Airbnb Optica before 0.10.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through crafted JSON requests. The unauthenticated POST / route passes the request body to Oj.load, whose default object mode allocates attacker-selected loaded classes and sets their instance variables. No account or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation runs code in the Optica server process.
