Authenticated traffic interruption via undisclosed input
Published Oct 19, 2022 · Updated May 8, 2025
Improper input validation in F5 BIG-IP AFM and PEM allows remote authenticated users to terminate TMM via an undisclosed input. F5 identifies Traffic Management Microkernel as the failing locus but has not disclosed the input or the validation operation that mishandles it. Reachability requires AFM or PEM provisioning on an affected release, and TMM termination interrupts traffic processing.
