CVE-2022-41791Network attack vector

Spreadsheet formula execution via unsanitized CSV export

Published Nov 17, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

CSV injection in EventPrime Events ProfileGrid 5.1.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to place formulas in exported user data. The pm_get_csv_single_user_row function copies subscriber-controlled profile values into CSV cells without neutralizing formula-leading characters. Subscriber access is required, and exploitation occurs when a privileged user exports the data and opens it in formula-evaluating spreadsheet software, where the formula can execute commands or access data on that user's system.
