Administrative password changes via unauthenticated configuration writes
Published Oct 31, 2022 · Updated Apr 16, 2025
Missing authentication in Delta Electronics InfraSuite Device Master 00.00.01a and earlier allows remote attackers to change administrative passwords. The WriteConfiguration method accepts unauthenticated requests and writes attacker-supplied values into user configuration files such as UserListInfo.xml. Network access to the service is sufficient; successful exploitation can replace administrative-password values and compromise account control.
