Improper input validation in Demon Image Annotation 5.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to exceed configured annotation-length limits. The annotation submission path accepts text without enforcing the configured maximum character count; public records do not identify the responsible function. No authentication is required, and the bounded impact is storage of overlength annotation content with integrity and availability effects.
