Administrator account creation via unauthenticated AddNewUser access
Published Oct 31, 2022 · Updated Apr 16, 2025
Missing authentication in Delta Electronics InfraSuite Device Master 00.00.01a and earlier allows remote attackers to create administrator accounts. The AddNewUser function accepts a serialized object from the network and invokes user and group modification functionality without verifying an authenticated session. No credentials or user interaction are required, and successful exploitation grants a newly created user administrative privileges.
