Local code execution via unsafe project conversion

Incorrect project conversion in EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert and Pro-face BLUE V3.3 Hotfix 1 and earlier allows local users to execute code. The project-conversion path accepts a project file from an adversary-controlled network share and processes it in a way that executes malicious code; Schneider Electric has not disclosed the responsible parser or conversion operation. A local account and access to the share-hosted project are required, and successful exploitation compromises the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the engineering workstation.
