Account identity disclosure via unchecked AJAX handler
Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026
Missing authorization in Account Manager for WooCommerce 2.1.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read account identity data. The ajax_get_eligible_managers() handler returns user IDs, first names, and last names as JSON without checking the list_users capability. Any logged-in subscriber can invoke the WordPress AJAX endpoint and enumerate administrator and shop-manager accounts, with no reported write access.
