Database disclosure via unescaped POST parameter
Published Dec 26, 2022 · Updated Apr 14, 2025
SQL injection in Contest Gallery and Contest Gallery Pro before 19.1.5.1 allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The 0_change-gallery.php handler concatenates the unescaped cg_multiple_files_for_post POST value directly into an SQL query. An account with at least the WordPress Author role must reach the administrative AJAX action; successful injection discloses sensitive database information.
