Deserialization mismatch in Huawei HarmonyOS and EMUI allows remote attackers to start components without authorization via network input. The system tool serializes and deserializes data inconsistently, but Huawei has not disclosed the tool, data format, or input path involved. Network access without authentication or user interaction is sufficient; affected releases are HarmonyOS 2.0, 2.1, and 3.0.0 and EMUI 11.0.1, 12.0.0, and 12.0.1.
