Cross-user data actions via stored script execution
Published Feb 22, 2023 · Updated Mar 12, 2025
Stored XSS in the BusinessConnect UI in TIBCO BusinessConnect 7.3.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to act as another user. TIBCO has not published which BusinessConnect UI field stores attacker-controlled content or how output encoding fails. A low-privileged account and another user's interaction are required; execution in that user's context enables reading, updating, inserting, or deleting BusinessConnect data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
