Database disclosure via SQL injection
Published Nov 2, 2022 · Updated May 2, 2025
SQL injection in Garage Management System v1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via the id parameter. The /garage/editorder.php endpoint accepts crafted id values, including UNION SELECT expressions, without adequately neutralizing SQL syntax, exposing query results such as the database name. Access requires an authenticated super-admin account; demonstrated impact is database disclosure, while broader write or service-interruption effects are not shown.
