Authenticated SQL injection via borrower ID
Published Oct 14, 2022 · Updated May 14, 2025
SQL injection in manage_borrower.php in Open Source SACCO Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The endpoint incorporates the id query parameter into a database query without neutralization, allowing a UNION SELECT payload to return the active database name. Access requires a Super Admin session, and the published proof demonstrates database disclosure through the application response.
