Database disclosure via unescaped option identifier
Published Dec 26, 2022 · Updated Apr 14, 2025
SQL injection in Contest Gallery and Contest Gallery Pro before 19.1.5 allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive database data. edit-options.php concatenates the unescaped option_id POST value into an SQL query, allowing attacker-supplied SQL to alter the query. Author-level WordPress access is required, and the demonstrated impact is database confidentiality loss.
