Server-side request forgery via unchecked package URL
Published Oct 13, 2022 · Updated May 15, 2025
SSRF in ClipperCMS 1.3.3 allows remote attackers to make the server request an attacker-supplied pkg_url through the package manager. The package-manager action passes the submitted URL directly to the PackageManager constructor without validating its destination. The public PoC includes an administrative session cookie, while the published CVSS assessment treats exploitation as unauthenticated; successful exploitation sends requests to attacker-selected internal or external resources.
