CVE-2022-41398Network attack vector

Sensitive data exposure via hard-coded Solr credentials

Published Apr 28, 2023 · Updated Jan 31, 2025

Hard-coded credentials in Sage 300 Global Search 2022 and earlier allow remote attackers to access the Solr dashboard as administrators. The optional feature provisions its accompanying Apache Solr instance with a fixed credential set, leaving administrative authentication secrets identical across deployments. Global Search must be enabled and the Solr dashboard network-reachable; successful login exposes the sensitive business records indexed for search.
