CVE-2022-41395Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via unchecked DMZ host

Published Nov 15, 2022 · Updated Apr 30, 2025

OS command injection in Tenda AC1200 W15Ev2 firmware 15.11.0.10(1576) allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via DMZ settings. The formSetDMZ handler accepts a JSON dmzHost value without validation, stores it as dmzIp, and advance_set_dmz_cfg inserts it into a shell command through a %s placeholder. Access requires authentication to the local web interface or enabled hosted remote-management console, and commands run as the application user.
