Project takeover via unvalidated default branch path

CSRF in GitLab before 15.6.7, 15.7 before 15.7.6, and 15.8 before 15.8.1 allows remote authenticated users to take over projects. A group default branch name containing path traversal sequences is inserted into the file-upload POST request path without validation, redirecting the authenticated request to the member-import API. The attacker needs a malicious empty project, and an Owner or Maintainer must upload a file through the web interface, which imports attacker-controlled members into a victim project.
