Database data disclosure via crafted department ID
Published Oct 6, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Online Leave Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through a crafted id parameter. The delete_department action accepts a POST id value whose SQL metacharacters alter the database statement, and an updatexml error returns query output. Administrative authentication is required, and the published request demonstrates database-name disclosure rather than broader data modification.
