CVE-2022-41342

Local privilege escalation via undisclosed buffer flaw

Published Feb 6, 2023 · Updated Jan 23, 2026

Improper buffer restrictions in Intel C++ Compiler Classic before 2021.7.1 allow local users with high privileges to escalate privileges. Intel has not published the affected compiler component, the buffer operation, or the input that reaches it. Exploitation requires local access, high privileges, and high attack complexity; successful exploitation grants higher privileges and can compromise data or interrupt the host.
