Remote code execution via unauthorized script upload
Published Nov 22, 2022 · Updated Apr 29, 2025
Missing authorization in Mitel MiCollab 9.6.0.105 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code through web conferencing. The web conferencing component accepts arbitrary script uploads without enforcing authorization, then executes the uploaded code in the application context. No authentication or user interaction is required, and MiVoice Business Express deployments containing earlier MiCollab releases are also exposed to application-context code execution.
