Uncontrolled search path in Intel Network Adapter installers before 27.3 and 4.01 allows local users to escalate privileges. Intel identifies the vulnerable locus only as the installer search path and has not disclosed the resource being resolved or the attacker-controlled path element. Exploitation requires authenticated local access and user interaction; successful abuse grants the installer's elevated privileges.
