Information disclosure via crafted FBX file parsing
Published Oct 14, 2022 · Updated May 14, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Autodesk FBX SDK 2020.3.1 allows context-dependent attackers to disclose information via a crafted FBX file. Autodesk has not identified the affected parser routine or disclosed how its bounds validation fails while processing the file. A consuming application or service must parse attacker-supplied FBX data; code execution is reported only when this flaw is chained with other vulnerabilities.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
