CVE-2022-41268Network attack vector

Privilege escalation via customer-reserved transaction code

Published Dec 13, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025

Privilege escalation in SAP Business Planning and Consolidation allows remote authenticated users to read, change, or delete system data. Some standard roles, including SAP_BPC_ADMIN, reference a customer-reserved transaction code that an authenticated user can implement to invoke unauthorized transaction functionality. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and the affected role and BPC functionality to be active; success grants elevated access to system data.
