Credential theft via CSRF-enabled form validation
Published Sep 21, 2022 · Updated May 28, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Jenkins CONS3RT Plugin 1.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to capture stored credentials. The plugin's form-validation methods accept non-POST requests and connect to an attacker-specified HTTP server with a supplied credential ID. A logged-in Jenkins user must load attacker-controlled content that submits the request, and the attacker must already know a stored credential ID.
