API key disclosure via unmasked configuration field
Published Sep 21, 2022 · Updated May 27, 2025
Missing secret masking in Jenkins BigPanda Notifier Plugin 1.4.0 and earlier allows attackers to capture its BigPanda API key. The global configuration form renders the stored API key without masking it as a password or other secret field. Exposure requires access to view or observe that administrative form, and the reported consequence is limited to disclosure of the API key.
