Stored credential capture via unchecked form validation
Published Sep 21, 2022 · Updated May 27, 2025
Missing authorization in Worksoft Execution Manager Plugin 10.0.3.503 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to capture stored credentials. The form-validation method accepts an attacker-specified URL and credential ID, retrieves that stored credential without a permission check, and uses it for an outbound connection. Overall/Read permission and a credential ID obtained through another method are required; the attacker-controlled endpoint receives the credential during connection authentication.
