Authenticated lamp data disclosure and renaming
Published Sep 21, 2022 · Updated May 28, 2025
Jenkins extreme-feedback Plugin 1.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to disclose lamp data and rename lamps via an HTTP endpoint. The endpoint omits a permission check while exposing job names attached to lamps and their MAC and IP addresses and accepting lamp renames. Overall/Read permission is required, and the consequence is information disclosure plus configuration changes to lamp names rather than code execution or service interruption.
