Artifact information disclosure via missing endpoint permission checks
Published Sep 21, 2022 · Updated May 28, 2025
Missing authorization in Jenkins Rundeck Plugin 3.6.11 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to obtain build artifact information. OptionProvider.doArtifact and findArtifact enumerate artifact names and URLs without checking Run/Artifacts permission before reading build metadata. Exploitation requires Item/Read permission and enabled optional Run/Artifacts controls; it exposes artifact information without altering builds.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
