Authenticated code execution via unrestricted database data types
Published Nov 22, 2022 · Updated Oct 21, 2025
Code injection in the Director component of Mitel MiVoice Connect 19.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute application code. The Director database component accepts crafted data without sufficiently restricting the database data type used to generate executable code. Exploitation requires valid credentials and internal network access, and successful execution runs within the application's security context.
