Memory corruption in SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Author and Viewer 9 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted file. The file parser reuses a dangling pointer into overwritten memory or writes beyond a stack buffer while processing attacker-controlled content. Exploitation requires a user to open the file and favorable memory placement; resulting code runs in the application's context and the process may crash.
