Memory corruption in CoreCadTranslator.exe in SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Author 9 allows attackers to crash the application via a crafted .x_b file. CoreCadTranslator.exe improperly manages memory while parsing untrusted Parasolid Part and Assembly data, causing the authoring process to terminate. Exploitation requires a user to open the file, and availability returns after the application restarts.
