Improper input validation in SAP SE SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Author version 9 allows attackers to cause a service interrupt via manipulated IGES files. CoreCadTranslator.exe processes .igs and .iges content with inadequate memory management, so crafted files crash the application. A victim must open the file; the consequence is a temporary application outage until restart, with no reported confidentiality or integrity impact.
