Unauthenticated country-block bypass via URL substring
Published Nov 18, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Improper access control in Webence iQ Block Country 1.2.18 and earlier allows remote attackers to bypass country-based blocking. The iqblockcountry_is_login_page function treats any requested URL containing the wp-login string as a login-page request, so the plugin skips its geographic access decision. The plugin must be active with country blocking configured; a crafted URL then exposes content that the site's geographic policy intended to deny, without granting write access or service control.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
