Root code execution via unchecked stack concatenation

Stack-based buffer overflow in prog.cgi on affected D-Link routers allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code as root via HTTP. The CGI binary passes crafted HTTP-request data to strcat(), which appends it without a length check into a 512-byte stack buffer. Attackers need network adjacency to reach the LAN-side lighttpd service on TCP port 80, but authentication and user interaction are not required.
